Playa Vista
The Perfect Blend of Beach Lifestyle, Community, and Convenience
Photo

Just south of Marina del Rey on L.A.’s Westside, Playa Vista has quickly become one of the city’s most vibrant and well-connected neighborhoods. Often referred to as the heart of Silicon Beach, Playa Vista is where coastal living meets the energy of a booming tech hub.

Before Playa Vista became one of L.A. ‘s sought-after places to live, it was home to Howard Hughes and the iconic Hughes Aircraft Company. After the aerospace era ended, the area was reimagined as a master-planned neighborhood. Today, more than 70% of Playa Vista is dedicated to open space, including 29 community parks and the 51-acre Freshwater Wetlands, which is home to hundreds of bird species and native wildlife.

With roughly 15,000 residents, this 1.5-square-mile neighborhood is compact, well-connected, and designed to support the way people live and work today.

Playa Vista features a mix of luxury condos, townhomes, and a handful of modern single-family homes. Most properties are sleek and three stories tall, with open layouts, indoor-outdoor living spaces, and rooftop patios. The homes here are well-maintained and often come with access to private community perks like The Resort and CenterPointe Club.

Living in Playa Vista,
Los Angeles

Living in Playa Vista means having everything you need right outside your door. The neighborhood was designed for walkability, and it shows, whether you’re grabbing coffee, heading to a fitness class, or meeting friends for dinner.

The neighborhood is built around Runway Playa Vista, a central hub for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Residents can walk or bike to The Campus (home to major players like Google, YouTube, Microsoft, and Electronic Arts) or head to The Resort and Centerpointe Club (which has fitness classes, pools, and social events exclusive to residents).

And when you do need to leave the neighborhood, you’re never far from anything. Playa Vista is just four miles from LAX and it’s within a quick 20-minute drive to Santa Monica, Venice, Culver City, and Beverly Hills. You’re also less than 10 minutes from the beach and around 30–40 minutes from Downtown L.A., Hollywood, and even Disneyland.
