Born and raised in the Midwest, Maria also had opportunities to work or study in New York, Barcelona, and London. However, when she moved to Los Angeles over 20 years ago, she knew she had found her home. Before real estate, Maria worked in the entertainment industry where she helped cast, develop, and produce unscripted television shows. Working on projects about real estate, home renovation, restoration, and design for networks like HGTV and DIY, she fell in love with this world and decided to pursue her own real estate career as an agent.

With a B.A. and M.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Kansas, and a background heading talent relations departments, Maria is a skilled negotiator with a client-centric mindset, and strong relationship-building skills. Her clients benefit from her ability to listen, understand their needs, and guide them through the real estate process with clarity and confidence.

Beyond her professional life, Maria is deeply engaged in the vibrant cultural scene of Los Angeles, enjoying theatre, live music, museums, dance, and the city's diverse culinary scene. As a proud Jayhawk, she has also won several awards from her alma mater for her volunteer work helping to build a strong network of alumni in Los Angeles.
